Theory meets Practice:

Photogrammetric Image Processing with MicMac & Point Cloud Processing with OPALS

Focus on topics :

• Photogrammetric processing: through practical examples, learn principles of the photogrammetric production chain: tie points extraction, interior/exterior orientation, georeferencing with indirect and integrated sensor orientation, product generation (depth maps, point cloud, mesh, orthoimage).
• Point Cloud Processing: lidar basics, geometric and radiometric calibration, strip adjustment, quality control, filtering, feature calculation, analysis and classification, use case examples: multispectral lidar, single photon lidar, UAV lidar, bathymetric lidar.Summer school is open to young scientists under 35 and who have an accepted contribution at the ISPRS 2022 congress.
