George Xian
Biography
Dr. George Xian is a research physical scientist for the U.S. Geological Survey, Earth Resources Observation and Science Center, who researches the national land cover and land cover database, land cover change, urban land change, land cover change impacts on climate and ecosystems using remote sensing information. Dr. Xian serves as an Editor-in-Chief for Remote Sensing Application: Society and Environment.
